On January 23, Devilman will reappear on Netflix as Devilman Gaiden.
According to the January 2023 issue of Kodansha's Monthly Young Magazine, Fujihiko Hosono will publish a new manga based on Go Nagai's Devilman series on January 23 under the title Devilman Gaiden -Ningen Senki (Devilman Sidestory -Human Chronicles-).
The Devilman series will be celebrated in the manga on its 50th anniversary. The story will take place during Japan's current Reiwa era.
In 1972, Nagai published the first issue of the Weekly Shnen Magazine published by Kodansha. The manga's television anime adaptation premiered at the same time. Since 1972, more than a dozen distinct spinoffs, crossovers, and remakes of the anime and manga series have been produced, including manga, OVAs, and a 2004 live-action movie. The initial manga was made available in English by Seven Seas Entertainment.
In December 2014, Nagai began the Devilman Saga manga in Big Comic, and it ran through March 2020.
In 190 nations or territories, the 10-episode crybaby animation DEVILMAN had its Netflix debut in January 2018.
